Condolences

Condolence From: J Saldana
Condolence: I am so very sorry for the loss of Joseph. My heartfelt condolences. Revelation 21:4 gives us this hope of what God will soon do: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Condolence From: Sarah Gindro
Condolence: I am 32 years old now and I still remember being around 5 years old when you would take your sweetie for rides on your motorcycle, out on dates, introducing the best drink ever to her (clearly Canadian) which she loved it was her favorite. U would tease her by filling up the empty drink with tap water and say hear you go sweetie I brought u your favorite drink. I would get so mad when I would take my first gulp just to find tap water. I fell for it every time. I have been your sweetie since I can remember and I will always stay your sweetie! I love u joe love always your sweetie- sarah Jo Gindro

Condolence From: John Klein, Jr.
Condolence: I am so saddened after just reading about my great friend (Joseph Gonzalas)passed away recently. I worked with Joe on Johnston Island from the early 90s till 2003 and have many fond memories of us together. Joe was like a brother to me whom I loved. We spent many great times together on Johnston Island and also in Hawaii. I will surely miss Joe just like so many others who knew, and worked with him. My condolences go out to Joe's family. May God Bless You All!

Condolence From: Carol Cornella Barge
Condolence: I read the Florence Citizen today. I live in California and still get the paper. I was so sad to read of Joe's passing. We went to school together up until high school. Joe was always cracking jokes and making life a little more fun and interesting for everyone. I still remember him like it was yesterday. Joe had great parents, too. He came from a very loving and kind family. May you all rest in peace.

Condolence: Gonzo my homey and friend for lots of years. I will miss working with you and sharing the stories and humor you always brought wherever you were. Not too many people could compete with your wit. You will be missed. I have a hard time telling myself this is really true. I am sure you are humoring Jesus right now. To Gwen, and family I am sorry, my heart is heavy for you. May God bless you always.

Condolence From: David Chelakis
Condolence: My friend Gonzo, thank you for always having a smile when we cross paths, for that unique gift to make me better by teaching me to laugh at myself and for always giving that extra minute of friendship. There was nothing else needed from your friendship and I will always keep it with me. The world has little less laughter today, but many more wonderful memories.

Condolence: My heart was heavy when I learned that a dear friend of mine had passed away. I worked with "Gonzo" for many years at Johnston Atoll (JACADS). He was the best guy and always had a good story or two to tell. The last time I talked to him was during his work at Pueblo (PCAPP). He gave me peanuts from Washington that were the best and as usual he had a great story to tell. I will pray for his family for their loss and never forget my friend "Gonzo".
