Obituary for Raymond Joseph Janoski

Raymond Joseph Janoski, age 90, of Silver Cliff, Colorado passed away on January 4, 2019.
Raymond was born September 30, 1928 in Pueblo, Colorado to Joseph C. and Maryann Janoski (née Vitullo).
A veteran of WWII, Raymond was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps and very proud of his service. He worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Westcliffe and involved with the Knights of Columbus. An avid outdoorsman, he loved the mountains where it wasn’t uncommon to find him either hunting, fishing, hiking or camping. An artist as well, Raymond loved chainsaw carving. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Elsie; children, Kim (Walt-deceased) Doerr, Nancy (Vince) Cowley, Jason (Catherine) Janoski; sister, Esther Graham; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m. January 11, 2019 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Westcliffe, Colorado. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Assumption Cemetery.
