Linda Ann (Stevenson) Tyler died December 29, 2018 at her home, losing her second battle with cancer. She was 75 years old.

She was born January 17, 1943 in Butler, PA to Charles Blair and Helen (Vaughn) Stevenson. She graduated from Butler High School, Butler, PA, in June 1960 and graduated with honors from Grove City College, Grove City, PA in December 1963.
Her first job was with the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, Los Alamos, NM as a computer programmer. She met her husband through a mutual friend and was married on August 22, 1964.
In June, 1967 she moved with her family to Lawrenceburg, IN where she was a stay-at-home mom raising 3 boys. In January 1972 she moved to Cleveland, Ohio area, where she remained a stay-at-home mom, then taught Math at Parma Hts. Jr. High School, and later worked for Republic Steel Corp. as a Computer Programmer.
In January 1981 she finally got back to the West (Littleton, Colorado), a part of America she learned to love while working in Los Alamos. In June 1993 she retired from Oppenheimer Asset Management Corp., as a Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst/Project Manager. Linda was an avid reader, a great cook, and tried to grow flowers in a small garden but had trouble competing with the local deer population. She loved to travel, doing cruises to Europe, China, Hawaii, Alaska and the Caribbean Islands. She spent many a vacation week visiting relatives in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, and Florida. She was also an active member of Hope Lutheran Church, and a 20 year member of the Columbine Club.
One of her greatest experiences was as a teacher/missionary for 1 year in Macau, China with the Lutheran Church. While there she had the opportunity to visit several cities including Beijing, Hangzhou, Xian, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas; two sons, L. Charles Tyler II, Dallas, TX, James D. Tyler, Colorado Springs, Colorado; one granddaughter, Isabella Grace Tyler, Colorado Springs; sister, Barbara Christy, Pittsburg, PA; and brother, John Gilbert Stevenson, of Austin, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; many aunts, uncles, and an infant son, Michael Robert Tyler.
Memorial service, 11:00 a.m. January 16, 2019 at Hope Lutheran Church, Westcliffe, Colorado with her former pastor Wayne Riddering officiating.
