Phyllis Evelyn Colarelli, 87, passed away June 22, 2017 in Canon City, Colorado. Born September 21, 1929 in Leadville, Colorado to Evelyn Holmes and Leona (Warren) Holmes, she was united in marriage to Anthony D. Colarelli in May 1959 in Clayton, New Mexico. She retired from Mountain Bell. Phyllis was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church; she belonged to the Sweet Adelines, The Eagles Lodge, and was an Elkette. For the past 9 months, she resided in Lakewood, Colorado to be close to family.
Mrs. Colarelli is survived by her children, Warren (Shelley) Colarelli, Colleen Colarelli (Robert Welch), and Anthony N. Colarelli; grandchildren, Michelle Colarelli, Audra Colarelli, Brian Roney and Karen Dybdahl; great grandchildren, Samantha Durbin, Alexandria Durbin, Alexias Dybahl, Michael Roney, David Roney and Simon Turner; sisters-in-law, Angie Colarelli and MaryAnn Peck; and numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be at Holt Chapel of the Garden Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Canon City with Reverend Jesse Perez as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
