John William Blackburn, 81, of Canon City passed away March 3, 2018. He was born on June 29, 1936 to Woodrow and Nora (Murphy) Blackburn in Larned, Kansas.
John is survived by his wife, Barbara (Wood) Blackburn of Canon City; sons, Jim(Lori) of Fulton New york, William(Sandy) of Glenrock, Wyoming, Bart of Caldwell, Idaho, Michael (Brooke) of Susanville, California; sisters, Sherrill(Richard)Bucknell of Canon City and Barbara Gette of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Ann Marie(Billy)Kepler, Merritt Blackburn, Caris(Nate) Malone, Bethany(Corey) Ruff, Brittnie Blackburn, Nicholas (Kaylann) Blackburn, Alexis (Dustin) Ailport, Ashley Russ, Nicole Russ and Hunter Brown; ten grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Nora (Murphy) Blackburn.
