After 91 years on this earth, Jeanne Christian of Canon City, Colorado went home to heaven and is singing with the angels. She was a beautiful soul who loved her family. She enjoyed painting, baking, quilting, gardening, doing crafts and taking walks. She was very gifted in music.
She is survived by and leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Jan Blatter; son, Ken (Cheri) Rhoades; daughter-in-law, Linda Rhoades and seven grandchildren. She will be loved always.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her son, Ron Rhoades; son-in-law, Rich Blattner; the last of 14 brothers and sisters and her loving husband, Bob Christian.
Graveside service, 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018, Lakeside Cemetery, 1008 Elm Avenue, Canon City. Memorial service, 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018, Holt Chapel of the Garden, 806 Macon Avenue, Canon City, Colorado 81212.
