Mrs. Wanda "Sue" (Peterson) Rutter, born on July 7, 1944 in Santa Monica, CA, to the late Kenneth and Edith Peterson, passed away on March 24, 2018 in Canon City, CO. Sue was the beloved wife of LeRoy Rutter. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenny Peterson Jr. Sue is survived by her husband LeRoy; sons, Wes Rutter and Chad (Candice) Rutter; brother, Keith (Jackie) Peterson; sisters, Wendy (Sully) Sullivan, Gail (Mark) Schovel, and Betty Heimer; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Sue was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, knitting, painting, gardening, riding horses, and fishing. Friends and family are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life, officiated by Pastor Dave Wietzke, on Friday, April 6 at 11:00a.m. at Crown of Life Lutheran Church, 145 S. Abarr Dr., Pueblo West, CO, 81007.
