Obituary for Samuel Paul Elstun Sr.

Samuel Paul Elstun Sr., 70, of Canon City passed away May 13, 2018. He was born October 31, 1947 in Sterling, Kansas to Walter and Irene (DeForrest) Elstun Sr.
Samuel joined the Army and retired after 21 years of service. During this time he married Lillian Janzen on April 1, 1968. They had two beautiful children, Sam Jr. and Sherry. Sam loved hunting and fishing and his grandchildren loved to drive his boat.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Elstun; son, Samuel (Debbie) Elstun Jr.; daughter, Sherry Mauzerolle; and grandchildren.
Samuel was preceded in death by both parents.
Memorial service, 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018, Wilson Funeral Chapel, 1449 S. 9th Street, Canon City, Colorado 81212. Reception to follow.
