Obituary for Margaret Cecelia Crane (Hamilton)

Margaret Cecelia Crane was born on April 6, 1927, in Pueblo, Colorado to Anthony Wayne Hamilton and Leona Ethel White.
She grew up in and around Canon City and lived her entire life in Colorado and rarely left the state. She attended school in Canon City and participated in the band playing the saxophone.
Margaret married Leroy Crane on February 24, 1947, and they were married for 68 years. Although she never worked outside the home, she was a wife, mother, mentor, bookkeeper, friend, volunteer and did many other “behind-the-scene” activities benefiting her family and all that surrounded her. She wondered at times if she had “done enough” but her life affected everyone she met and she will be remembered as a great lady among her family, friends and everyone who knew her.
